He then highlights some case studies where determining the right prescription for patients on peritoneal dialysis (PD) was challenging, and walks the audience through different options. Dr. Blake then cites studies on incremental prescriptions for PD before taking questions from the audience.

Dr. Jeffery Perl then presents his talk, “Unusual PD Complications.†He begins with a case study involving lymphatic fluid (chyloperitoneum), and discusses the possible complications and treatment. In a second case study, a man comes to Dr. Perl with PD fluid leaks into the genitalia. Next, Dr. Perl discusses hydrothorax and eosinophilic peritonitis, before taking questions from the audience.
